· New Concentration Proposal : Liberal Studies
- Sunita spoke to proposal modifications
- John expressed concerns regarding multiple concentrations
- Motion by Karen to approve, second by Beauty, 7 yes/1 no motion carried
· Revision of CAPC Procedure for Minor Deactivation
- General discussion on difference between “deactivation” and “discontinue”
- Discussion of document
- Motion by John to change to CAPC approval and Senate information item, second by Karen, unanimously approved
· Deactivation of Minor in International Business
- John spoke to this
- Motion by John to deactivate minor, second by Alex, unanimously approved
· New Program (Major) Proposal: M.Ed. in Outdoor Education Administration
- Jude spoke to this proposal reflecting separation from Kinesiology to Outdoor Education
- Motion by John to approve, second by Beth, unanimously approved
· New Program (Degree) Proposal: MAT in Early Childhood Education
- Dr. Nancy Mizelle spoke to this
- Discussion included the need for this program and the resources necessary to add this degree
- Motion by John to approve, second by Beth, and unanimously approved
