1. Subcommittee on Nominations: Ken McGill distributed to ECUS members, via email, the pertinent University Senate Bylaws concerning the formation of the subcommittee on nominations. Ken McGill distributed, by email, to ECUS members for review and endorsement the proposed members of the subcommittee of nominations. All members endorsed the following members of the 2010-2011 subcommittee on nominations: Executive Committee Ken McGill Chair Executive Committee Dean Baker Secretary Executive Committee Jan Clark (Hoffmann) Vice-Chair Executive Committee Karynne Kleine 2009-2010 Presiding Officer Executive Committee Tanya Goette Executive Committee Sandra Jordan Executive Committee Dorothy Leland Executive Committee Matthew Rogers Executive Committee Christine Zuger (Chair of Subcommittee on Nominations) Academic Policy Committee Amy Pinney Chair Curriculum & Assessment Policy Committee Barbara Roquemore Chair Faculty Affairs Policy Committee Craig Turner Chair Resources, Planning & Institutional Policy Committee Catherine Whelan Chair Student Affairs Policy Committee Macon L. Curriculum and Assessment Policy Committee (CAPC) Special Meeting: Ken McGill distributed, via email, the pertinent University Senate Bylaws concerning special meetings with ECUS members. Ken McGill distributed the CAPC agenda, review the outcomes created and approved by the Core Task force, for ECUS members to review and endorse. The agenda was endorsed by all ECUS members. 3. July 19th the University Presiding Officer, Ken McGill, called a special meeting of CAPC. He asked that they meet and review the core outcomes before July 28th. If the proposed outcomes wish to be sent to the Aug 11th senate meeting they must be brought to ECUS by July 28th. 4. The special CAPC meeting agenda was sent was sent to the campus community via email on July 22nd. 5. Ryan Brown, secretary of CAPC, contacted the P.O. on July 27th with the motion concerning the core outcomes.
