Note:
The USG (and therefore GC) already has a Copyright Policy. The impetus for this motion is that faculty and students are not aware of the Copyright Policy and the Fair Use Checklist. Adding a statement (and a link to the copyright policy) to the Required Syllabus Statements will ensure that faculty and students are educated on this policy each semester.
