New Concentration: Philosophy

During the 2012-2013 academic year, Catherine Whelan and Craig Turner were authorized by the 2012-2013 Executive Committee (at its 28 Sep 2012 meeting) to amend certain motions in the online motion database for consistency with the actions documented in the minutes of the University Senate. This motion (1112.CAPC.012.C) was among those to be amended. The following clarification on this motion is in order.

When motion 1112.CAPC.012.C received consideration by the University Senate at its 20 Apr 2012 meeting, a motion to COMMIT this motion to CAPC for further review in consultation with the University Registrar and the Provost was made by Ken McGill, seconded by Craig Turner, and approved by the University Senate.

At the time this proposal was submitted for further consideration by the 2012-2013 CAPC, it was too late to receive consideration by the 2012-2013 University Senate. This proposal was resubmitted as Motion 1314.CAPC.001.C for consideration by the 2013-2014 University Senate at its 13 September 2013 meeting.
