Motion Text:
To adopt the following as university academic policy:
1. A student will be allowed at most four attempts to pass the U.S. history examination and at most four attempts to pass the Georgia history examination. Should a student fail to pass either exam on the fourth attempt, the student shall be required to pass HIST 2111 or HIST 2112 to satisfy the special legislative requiremnt.
2. A student may take neither the US History Exam nor the Georgia History Exam during a semester in which the student is registered for at least one of HIST 2111 and HIST 2112.
