Reconsideration of Proposal by SoCC and CAPC

The motion which included the proposal to recommend the addition of a new course, IDST 2050 Sustainability, to Corre Curriculum Area E was sent back to CAPC, the source committee, during the September 15 University Senate. Due to the nature of the proposal, CAPC sent the motion back to SoCC for reconsideration. After review and the revision of the course syllabus, the proposal was included on the agenda for the CAPC meeting held on October 6, 2017.
As a result, the motion is being brought before the University Senate on October20, 2017, for a vote.
