In some instances, a student may request to video and/or audio record class sessions. Whether this is permissible is at the sole discretion of the professor except in cases of disability as authorized by Disability Services. By agreeing to be in this particular class, you are agreeing to permit a fellow classmate to record class sessions. Such recordings are not to be disseminated in any form or format to any other student, person, or entity by any media. Such dissemination may be grounds for removal from the class and referral for judicial proceedings.

During the 2012-2013 academic year, Catherine Whelan and Craig Turner were authorized by the 2012-2013 Executive Committee (at its 28 Sep 2012 meeting) to amend certain motions in the online motion database for consistency with the actions documented in the minutes of the University Senate. This motion (1112.APC.002.P) was among those to be amended. Two amendments for this motion are in order.

First: At the 24 Feb 2012 meeting, a motion to COMMIT Motion 1112.APC.001.C for refinement and rewording in the approved format was made by Catherine Whelan, seconded, and approved.

Second: When this motion was reconsidered by the University Senate at its 20 Apr 2012 meeting, this first version of the motion (1112.APC.001.P as considered on 24 Feb 2012) was replaced with Motion numbered 1213.APC.002.P, effectively withdrawing 1112.APC.001.P from further consideration.

There is a another motion 1213.APC.002.C pertaining to the legislative requirement for U.S. and Georgia Constitution that is separate and distinct from motion 1213.APC.002.P.
