Statutes Revisions(BOR APPROVAL 06-09-04)

To recommend to the GC&SU Faculty the following three (3) changes to the University Statutes:
(1) delete the word "the" from the second sentence of Article II. Section 7 so that "responsible for the all the" becomes "responsible for all the" and amend the first sentence of Article II Section 9 by adding "or other line of authority appropriate for the internal governance of their academic unit as described in Article II, Section 7" to the end of this sentence immediately following the words "their respective Deans";
(2) delete the word "first" and replace with the word "last" in the first sentence of Article VI, Section 2.C regarding terms of service of University Senators;
(3) delete "four (4), annually," and "first," and add "last" and, "as outlined in the By-Laws" in the second sentence in Article VI, Section 3.A as well as amend Article VI, Section 3.C.3 regarding the body of inquiry as specified in the supporting documentation.
