Call to Order
The meeting was called to order by John Swinton at 12:00 p.m. in Arts & Sciences Room 216.
Attendance
Members Present: Scott Butler, Esther Lopez, Mary Magoulick, Stephanie McClure, Cara Meade, John Swinton, and Kay Anderson

Distribution of Certificates
John Swinton distributed University Senate certificates to each of the committee members in recognition of their participation on SoCC this year.
Action Items
GC2Y 2000 Quest for Adventure as an Area B2 Section
The committee began review of this course. The proposal needs to include the UPS information sheet. The committee also asked for a list of possible topics in the description or UPS information sheet to help the committee understand the ways that this class is global in nature and for clarification on the supervision of the fourth hour. The committee also asked that evidence of analytical writing be included explicitly in the proposal. The proposal will be returned for revision.

The committee will meet on Wednesday, April 3, 2013, at 12 noon, in A&S 216.
